Even cooler.

Cool.

You patronize us. ;-)

Wonderful, man. You're tearing the Famitracker up. Love the vibratos.

Cool. Love with the 45 sec mark hits. Almost think you should switch the order and have that play as the intro to the song, then have the faster bits come in. How you liking the Famitracker?

SineRider responds:

Yeah I think would be a good idea to start with a section of that then end with it again. Might have to edit like that.

Famitracker is really great although I find it really tough to write an actual song with it, but that's just with any tracker. Im too used to piano-sequencer type DAWS. It's still alot of fun to mess with and forces me to really use all the tracks wisely, although on this one I was using the VCR6 module which adds extra tracks to the original NES soundchip

Wonderful, man. It sounds so good when it finally picks up its full steam (not that it doesn't before hand). I just really like that mesh of sound with the airy strings. I also have a super short loop titled "Established Connection" ;). We need to throw noises at one another some time, I appreciate your melodies.

RetromanOMG responds:

Thanks for your thoughts, AR. I actually plan on making more songs like this, since I prefer this less energetic style to the one I've used for my Dance songs. I hadn't actually realized that you had a song with such a similar name. While your stuff usually inspires the stuff I make, I'm going to have to call coincidence on this one.

That said, however, the thought of us working together in some way is very tempting, but I don't think I'm ready for that yet. I've already tried collabing with others, such as Nubbinownz, and that didn't go as well as I would've liked, so I think i'm going to avoid that for a while.

You're fucking awesome, man. Thank you, so much, for this. It's a great listen - I'm honored.

RetromanOMG responds:

I'm really glad you liked it. Along with Nubbinownz, your music inspired me to get into music myself. Think of this as my way of saying "thank you."

So dope. I get to those exact stages with plenty of files (Which quite generally will result in me stopping work on them sometimes, because my computer just can't deal with all the crap I want to load up, haha). I really like what you've done with the vocals. Clear beats, good space.

@1:55 that vocal raise - fav.

InvisibleObserver responds:

Thank you thank you. This songs been since worked on... With the new audio tools for deleting, I'm looking forwards t o cleaning up my account and having things be more produced/finished.

The slow rise of the synth plucking is wonderful. Great piece. It reminds me a lot of space. The slow transit of massive objects in cold darkness.

Dope. Good broken beats and glitches. Lovely melodies.

If you get a chance, check out Kashiwa Daisuke (If you haven't already) and his album "Program Music". Some of the sequencing you've done vaguely reminds me of some of his stuff - Mainly the stuff that begins at 1:54, and to narrow that down more - the percussion, the sound of them. I think you'd like his stuff.

oddfellowfloyd responds:

Thank you for the suggestion!! I checked Kashiwa out, and I really like it!! I dig this! Of course, it helps to turn the volume up and wear my hearing aids, so I can catch all the little glitches and high notes, haha :P

Wow. This is brilliant.

Mutant from the primordial ooze, busking on the streets of the internet. I will be forgotten by time. A temporary fascination. Use me up. I am yours. Help me feel useful...
