Beautiful piece. Love the downtempo grit, guitar flourishes. Gonna be chilling out to this track for a while -- thanks for the music.

Cheers for the kind words Lapse, seriously though 'I can't get Dressed Today' was great. Tried getting some vocal textures similar to this in one of the tracks I'm working on.
Made me realise that I lacked singing talent but you know what, that's what effects are for anyway haha.
Thanks again.
This is going to be on loop for a bit (actually loops very nicely too). Good washy ambient textures, subtle bass blooms and a solid steady beat. . The super subtle plucking towards the end. I'd love to riff over this.
I'd love it if you riffed over this
great tune. Always jealous of your kicks. This tracks got a great vibe. You should've been on the Samurai Champloo sountrack!
man that would've been too cool...
A bunch of NG cats should get together and tribute the fuck out of those OSTs
Thanks for coming through Lapse
Frontpage! :D
Beautiful track, Retro. Love the part @ 1:37, when the hats come in.
Thanks! I've never had a song make the front page before; I'm pretty stoked about it!
Overall: Good sounding mix, man.
I dig all the ambient elements, naturally. I'm a man of ever-changing percussion (usually)...but you had a good grove in this with some good moments of pure ambiance to break up the percussive segments. I also dig the hat rhythms throughout.
Great first submission!
Lapse,
Thanks for the kind words.
This piece started with a small percussion experiment, which evolved into a song (but looking at it now, I can see that the percussion didn't evolve much at all). A friend did help me remove percussion in areas, freeing up the song a bit. I'll definitely aim to mix it up more on the next piece. Thanks for mentioning! :D
The mix is great, man. The crispy shakers, the low-fi textures and that bloated muffled kick. Dig the subtle stutter at :45. Just enough changes and ebbs and flows to stay engaging but not entrusive. You've got a way with the subtle that I wish I had... prefect ending to lead the lofty and weary out. Another addition for my chill out tunes.
Keep bringing it.
Aye aye. Thanks for coming.
Damn, man. Super chill. Could spin this in my ears for hours. Also, the sort of triple kick rhythm at 16 seconds is a favorite structure of mine.
Much respect man.
Dig.
Nice job, man. Love when the percs/bass hit.
Thanks! Sorry for my late response, but I really appreciate your review.
Nice, man. Super heavy.
Thank you man. Those rottweilers get lost in my music from time to time.
Mutant from the primordial ooze, busking on the streets of the internet. I will be forgotten by time. A temporary fascination. Use me up. I am yours. Help me feel useful...
