[Clockwork Beats]

Hm..

I like the sound of the track - the quality as well. The drums are so repetitive though. You need some variation in that main drum loop you use. I dug the panning with the drums towards the end. You've got some rad basslines going here, too. Loops pretty cool, too. Very upbeat, jazzy, hip-hopish. Sort of reminds me of this particular track from Samurai Champloo - if I was to liken it to anything. Can't recall the name of the specific track, however.

Dig the 8-bit melody a lot. Interesting melody. I'd like to hear this finished up! Pretty intense track that gets right into it from the get go. The little let down 'round :40 is great.

cool stuff, man. Shame its not finished - but you're on the right track - hope this gives you some push to finish!

Pretty nice. Got some big-ass dirty bass going on. Which I can dig. Would love to hear some sort of melodies in the back of all this. Not quite sure what I'd like to hear when it comes to that - but something light and airy over time of all the grime would be interesting I think.

Not bad

The drums are very stock and don't sound very good at all. (to me). Killed it for me.

Everything else, harmonica, guitar, vibra-slap, great.

Thanks AR.... yeah, it's been like a year or so since I first did that one song and got into music. Seems so... different... when I look back on that old stuff. I like the editing you've done. the filtering and automation and such on that ride is really awesome. I like the big sound of the kick and you've created quite a nice space as well. Its got this whole Tribal-Space vibe which is cool. I kind of wish there was a a climax of sorts with some heavy drums that come in for a bit. Its nice around 1:40 and i wish you would've made that segment a bit longer and then built it up with some more percussive elements. Good stuff. Take it easy.

Yeah, it might be a little short of climaxes. I mostly though about making the song flow well in a half-ambient way. I don't think some heavy drums would have fitted very well, though I haven't tried.
